Time to Reflect?
I just watched 500 Days of Summer again, in all its glory. It’s still the best romance I’ve watched so far (or so memory tells me), and it’s so…relatable. It’s even better when you’re watching it with friends.
I can’t wait for what lies ahead of me.

Oh, cheesy quote written on a piece of toilet paper…how right you are.
Or maybe it’s just a really good-ass song and you want people to listen to it because it’s a really good-ass song and you will shun them if they don’t like this good-ass song because, in the end, good-ass songs are good-ass songs.

Who’s got The Black Keys’ new album?
That’s right.
El Camino isn’t as good as their past albums—I kinda like their old garage-y stuff a bit better—but it’s still awesome stuff nevertheless. In fact, I’m really liking it. I could definitely get used to this.
What I’m thankful for
- My existence
- My family
- My friends
- Princeton
- Two places I’m able to call home
- An education
- Past experiences
- Food
- Water
Such a general list. To make it more specific:
- My friends here at Princeton. They make me feel at home and feel loved. It’s only been a bit less than three months, and already I can call them my best friends. Simply amazing—definitely the biggest surprise of this year.
- My best friends back home. Awesome people, people I can rely upon for moral support.
- My family. It’s a shame that it’s only being away from them for so long that I appreciate them this much.
- Education. It’s amazing that I have this opportunity in front of me. As much as I complain, I’m thankful for it.
- Never knowing hunger. It reminds me of how fortunate I am to actually live sufficiently, and reminds me that there are many who struggle daily. May they be blessed and warm.
Yeah, it’s cheesy (and late), but that doesn’t mean it’s true.
